What is Beyond the Couch?

Therapy is powerful—but healing doesn’t stop at the office door.

Beyond the Couch is where I bring mental health into real life: coaching, workshops, creative tools, community spaces, and consulting that help people reconnect with themselves and each other.

If you’re looking for ways to learn, heal, or collaborate outside traditional therapy—you’re in the right place.

1:1 Coaching

Support for the woman who's done shrinking.

Coaching with me is for high-achieving, self-aware folx who are ready to move differently—whether that means setting boundaries, healing attachment patterns, or making values-aligned decisions without guilt.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Unlearning people-pleasing

  • Navigating relational burnout

  • Building emotional self-trust

  • Reconnecting with your actual desires (not just your responsibilities)

This isn’t therapy—it’s a space to grow with intention, curiosity, and accountability.

Peace Room Hosting

Emotional Support During Difficult Conversations

I create calm, grounding spaces for conferences and community events—where attendees can take a break, process heavy content, and regulate their nervous systems.

As a licensed mental health professional, I hold space with compassion and intention, especially when the conversation includes trauma, identity, race, or grief.

🎧 The Podcast (Coming Soon)

What happens when two BIPOC women therapists with lived experience, real opinions, and tender hearts sit down to talk about healing while the world is burning?

This podcast is that.

Hosted by me and my homegirl, colleague, and fellow therapist Dominique Balderas, LPC, this space is for all the feels, all the mess, and all the magic that comes with doing the work while being human.

If you’ve ever felt like the only one in the room—this podcast is for you.
