Credentials
  • Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin
  • M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & General Psychology

Hey, I’m Marie—a licensed professional counselor, ADHD-having, plant-loving, late-night-deep-convo-having kinda therapist who’s passionate about helping people come back home to themselves.

I’ve spent over a decade in the mental health field, with the last few years counseling college students, community members, and first-timers to therapy. I bring both clinical skill and lived experience to the work—especially when it comes to Black and Brown womxn, neurodivergent folx, first-generation cycle breakers, and high-achieving souls navigating perfectionism, burnout, and not-enoughness.

I specialize in supporting individuals who are working through attachment wounds and striving for healthier, more fulfilling relationships—with others and with themselves. Whether you’re unlearning patterns rooted in early relationships or redefining what love and safety feel like, we’ll work together to build the kind of connections you truly deserve.

I’m not a “blank slate” therapist. I’m the one who’ll laugh with you, cry with you, hold you accountable, and hold space for your breakthroughs. Each session is uniquely tailored to each client. Just like you bring your full, layered self into the room, I will too.

At the heart of my work is a belief that healing happens in safe, meaningful connection. My approach is person-centered and relationship-driven, grounded in a justice-oriented and multicultural lens. I name systems of oppression and how they’ve shaped your story—because your responses aren’t pathologies, they’re survival. In our work, I bring both softness and honesty, offering compassion with clarity. This is a space where your full self is not only welcomed, but celebrated—where we honor your truth, embrace the mess, and protect your sparkle while you grow.

What Therapy Looks Like With Me

Therapy with me is a mix of real conversation, deep reflection, and practical tools to help you feel more in control of your life and your emotions. I tailor each session to you—what you’re carrying, what you’re hoping for, and what kind of support actually feels helpful.

I pull from different therapy styles depending on what fits best. Here’s what that might look like:

  • You will better understand how your inner voice was shaped—and how to shift it when it’s holding you back (that’s the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy side).

  • Especially when things feel overwhelming (hello, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy).

  • Because healing often means reworking how you show up with others and yourself.

  • Because you deserve a space that feels safe enough to be real.

  • without making it your whole story—your resilience gets to shine here, too.

“There’s space here for your big feelings, tiny wins, and all the versions of you that never had a place to land. This is therapy where we unpack, unlearn, and unlock—and maybe even frolic a little along the way.” -Marie

I love working with:

  • Black and Brown womxn who are over being everything for everyone

  • First-gen folx building a life their families never imagined

  • Neurodivergent clients learning how to thrive without masking

  • Queer, questioning, or identity-exploring humans

  • Anyone who’s ready to soften, heal, and start living like they matter

Who I Serve

You don’t need a diagnosis to deserve support. But for those who are curious, I frequently support clients working through:

  • Anxiety & overthinking

  • Attachment wounds

  • Relationship concerns or break ups

  • ADHD

  • Trauma (racial, complex, developmental)

  • Burnout

  • Boundary struggles

  • Perfectionism

At the end of the day, I’m here to walk with you, not ahead of you. This isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you reconnect with the version of yourself that’s always been worthy, capable, and enough.

Let’s figure it out together.
